Hardware is a one-time purchase: FC-101 battery $64, FC-103 rugged battery $77, FC-101S-PRO solar multi-sensor $125, FC-101S solar $165 and FC-101S-EX solar with I/O $197. Then choose a monthly plan per tracker: Locate at $7.99 or Track at $11.99. The iMatrix Cloud platform is included.
What does an asset tracker cost over two years compared with Samsara and Geotab?
An FC-101 battery tracker on the Locate plan costs $255.76 over two years ($64 plus 24 months at $7.99), and an FC-101S solar tracker on Track costs $452.76. Samsara's public-sector list prices for its AG-series asset trackers and gateways work out to about $339 to $755 over two years, on contracts that typically run three to five years and can't be cancelled early. Geotab GO Anywhere at public reseller pricing is about $382 to $432. iMatrix plans have no contract or minimum term. Competitor figures are estimates, not quotes.
Is there a contract or a cancellation fee?
No. Monthly plans have no contract and no early-termination fee. Cancel any time and keep the hardware, which you bought outright.
Is cellular data included?
Yes. Every plan includes the EdgeUplink eSIM with Zone 1 (Europe) and Zone 2 (North America and more) coverage, so there is no separate data bill. Coverage in other zones is available on request. The FC-103, FC-111, FC-113, FC-115, FC-119, FC-221 and FC-223 are North America (Zone 2) releases today.
